Una inusual granizada que cayó el sábado sobre Bogotá cubrió varios sectores de la ciudad de una gruesa capa de hielo que, en algunas vías del centro, alcanzó el metro y medio de altura y sepultó una treintena de vehículos, reportaron ayer los bomberos.
Ese cuerpo de rescate y grupos de trabajadores de la capital colombiana con palas mecánicas no terminaron hasta ayer la remoción del hielo, que se concentró básicamente en la intersección de dos importantes vías del centro de la ciudad.
Aunque la fuertes lluvias acompañadas de una tormenta de granizo generaron pánico entre los transeúntes y conductores, no dejaron víctimas pero sí cientos de damnificados que vieron sus vehículos cubiertos por el hielo o los techos de sus casas averiados por la fuerza del granizo.
